Men go to the gym, do some cardio, lift weights, and then it is off to the shower room and work. Women, on the other hand, have different preferences. Some do not like lifting weights because they think they will look too manly with muscles so they just do cardio exercises. Others love the muscles so they lift weights. And then there are those who do not like the smell of sweat at all so they just stick to counting calories.

  • Budget. How much are you willing to spend per week or per month on your program? It is sad that eating healthily these days is much more expensive than regular meals. Organic food in the supermarket is just ridiculously expensive. But there are still other options. So, if you also decide to enroll at a gym, make sure that you consider the expenses on both food and gym.

  • Lifestyle. What kind of lifestyle do you live? Are you an active person? What kind of job do you have? Does it allow you to walk some distance during the day or are you stuck in front of your computer from the morning until you leave? If you are not active, you will have to choose a program that makes you do some cardio exercise.

  • Preference. Each of us has our own preference when it comes to losing weight. However, if you want to have fast results, you will need to compromise. This also depends on how fast you want to see results.
