  3. Ultrasound-assisted liposuction: This procedure uses high-frequency sound waves to generate energy in the tissues, breaking down the fat cells. This makes suction removal easier and is helpful for stubborn fat in areas such as the stomach and waist. Recovery is the same as tumescent liposuction, but there is a higher risk of burns, blisters, numbness, and blood clots.
  4. Laser-assisted liposuction: This procedure uses a laser to break down fat, which is then removed through small incisions made by the surgeon. Anaesthetic and epinephrine are administered to reduce pain and bleeding. This form of liposuction has a one-month recovery period, and its benefits include precise results, the ability to be applied to any part of the body, and skin-tightening effects. Drawbacks include a longer recovery period and an increased risk of burns.
